I recently stayed at the resort, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The setting was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful gardens, which added to the charm. My apartment was clean and well-equipped, although it felt a bit dated. The staff here were exceptional, always going above and beyond to assist me. The dining experience could be improved, especially with more variety available. Nevertheless, I found it to be great value for money with the services offered.

The resort was in a peaceful location, surrounded by beautiful gardens and within walking distance to cafes and shops, making it very convenient.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were limited, and while the meals I had were enjoyable, I found the breakfast selection to be repetitive.

5.8/10

Our stay had its ups and downs. While the room was spacious and comfortable, the customer service left a lot to be desired. The location was peaceful but not very close to shops, and the dining options were quite limited. The pool area was nice, but the overall amenities need some upgrades and attention.

Rooms
6.0
The room we stayed in was spacious with a comfortable king-sized bed and new linen. However, the mattress could use a topper as it felt thin, and the noise from the fans was quite distracting for sleep.
Service
5.0
The service was lacking, as staff seemed indifferent to requests. We faced issues like a broken light bulb and a non-functional bathroom fan that were not promptly addressed.
Location
6.0
The hotel is nestled in beautiful gardens but is about a kilometer from town, making it a bit inconvenient, especially in the heat without a car.
Dining
5.0
The continental breakfast included in our package was repetitive, and there was no option for an upgraded full breakfast unless we paid the full amount. It felt a bit limited during our stay.
Facilities
6.0
The pool area was nice and relaxing, but overall, the facilities felt neglected, likely due to resource shortages.

I had such a delightful stay! The individual cottages were nestled in a stunning tropical garden, providing a peaceful escape. The breakfast variety was impressive, and the cooked items were spot on! Although my room needed a little updating, it was comfortable enough. The dining experience at Bailey's was fantastic, especially the steak. Just a short drive to town, which is a bonus!

My stay at Governor's Lodge was quite mixed. On one hand, the rooms offered comfort and were nestled among beautiful grounds, making for a nice setting. However, the service left much to be desired, particularly with the dining experience that was disappointing in quality. Overall, it was a decent spot but had some notable downsides that made me rethink my choice.
